Scrambling
Our Intermediate Scrambling course is the next step for those wanting to take on more challenging scrambles. This will normally be with the use of the a rope.
Summary:
Scrambling occupies that grey ground between mountain walking and rock climbing . On this course we will look at blending some of the skills from both mountain walking and rock climbing and putting it into practice on graded ground.

Who's it for?
Our scrambling course is for anyone who has experienced grade 1 scrambles such as Tryfan’s North ridge. You will probably be looking to advance onto Grade 2 and 3 Scrambles and become independent mountaineers

Kit Needed:
Basic hillwalking kit and hillwalking boots. We can provide any climbing kit, but if you have a helmet, harness and belay plate please bring them.

​Itinerary:
Our normal start time and meeting point is 9:00am at a local café. After a quick briefing we head out to our chosen destination for a day of Scrambling. We aim to be finished around 4:30pm.

How to book:
Open Courses – These are usually of mixed groups. Pleas e mail for upcoming dates.
Closed courses – These are for bespoke dates for groups . We do ask for a £20 booking fee and a minimum number of two persons.
